Operator Digital Experience Lead (CX) at Who Gives A Crap

Manages CX technology stack and builds AI-powered automations and workflows to improve customer experience team efficiency.

What this role involves

Not all heroes wear capes — but plenty of them use toilet paper

Want to challenge yourself at a purpose-led scale up AND make a difference in the world? Come join the revolootion!

Funny name, serious business

We make eco-friendly products and donate 50% of our profits to provide clean water and help build toilets for the billions of people who lack proper access. So far, we’ve contributed over $18 million AUD (roughly $12.5 million USD) to fund sanitation projects around the globe. Basically, we’re really good at doing good.

With hubs in Australia, the Philippines, China, the US, UK and Europe, our amazing team of 200+ work to make the biggest possible impact for people and the planet. Over the next couple of years, we’re hoping to increase our annual donation tenfold to get us closer to our dream of everyone in the world having access to clean water and sanitation services.

A bit about the role

As our Digital Experience Lead, you’ll own how our Customer Experience team’s technology actually works. You’ll hold the roadmap for a stack of CX tools — think Zendesk, Zapier, Sprout and a handful of others — and make the call on what stays, what goes, and what gets replaced. You’ll lead the build-out of automations and AI-powered workflows that take the busywork off our CX team’s plate, partner closely with IT and Digital Product to land new tools properly, and lead and grow one direct report along the way. We’re moving into a new phase of scaling up our internal processes to match our growth, and this role is central to making that happen — think less “maintain what exists” and more “figure out how we do this better.”

If you worked here this past month here are some things you might have been involved in

  • Reviewed our CX tech stack and made the case for consolidating two overlapping tools into one
  • Worked with the Analytics & Insights team to redesign our Zendesk issue-type taxonomy
  • Sketched out a 12-month roadmap of automation and AI experiments with Digital Product
  • Pushed back on a vendor renewal that didn’t stack up on cost, and proposed an alternative
  • Coached your direct report through a cross-functional roadblock with IT

Let’s talk about you

You lead without needing to be told how You’ve led a team before and you’re used to making the call yourself, not waiting to be pushed into it. When something needs a recommendation, you bring one — with the reasoning attached.

You speak fluent tech, without needing to write the code You don’t need to be an engineer, but you understand technology well enough to pull apart a tool, weigh it against alternatives, and make a confident call on what we should actually be using. Hands-on time with tools like Zendesk, Sprout, Zapier, Kodif or similar CX platforms will help you hit the ground running.

You use AI as a toolkit, not a talking point You’re comfortable and confident using AI tools day to day, and you can see the practical ways they fit into automations and customer-facing workflows — not just the hype.

You give a crap Do you want your work to make the world a better place? Do you want to work with other people who feel the same way? What a coincidence — us too!

Why should you work with us?

First off,as a certified B Corp™, we work to make a difference every day while maintaining the highest standards of social and environmental impact. With our most recent score of 125.5 we’re in very good company with other exceptional B Corps around the world.

We also believe that helping to make the world a better place should be rewarded accordingly – that’s why we offer competitive, market informed salaries, meaningful support towards healthcare for our team around the world, generous paid leave, tailored learning and development opportunities, and free toilet paper (yes, you read that right).

Our engagement surveys (thanks Culture Amp!) tell us that our team is really proud (95%) to work for Who Gives A Crap and, well, we couldn’t be more proud of that.

Have you made it this far?

If you’re still reading, we think there’s a strong chance you might be our kind of person. Here’s the thing, though — research suggests that 60% of women and underrepresented folks might have already talked themselves out of applying. Even if you don’t check every box above, we want to encourage you to introduce yourself. We believe a diversity of perspectives and experiences makes a team stronger — and the stronger our team, the closer we are to delivering toilets and clean water for all.

  • High-growth company driven by high performance
  • Expected salary range: $174,100 - $184,350 CAD

THE OPPORTUNITY:

As an Applied AI Solutions Architect, you’ll turn real business problems into working AI solutions that deliver measurable results for TechInsights and our customers. You’ll partner with Product Managers, analysts and customers to uncover pain points, then design and build the solution end to end: AI agents, tools, integrations and workflows.

This is not a traditional development role. It blends business analysis, solution architecture and hands-on delivery, using AI coding tools to move quickly from idea to production.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Gather requirements directly from Product Managers, analysts and customers; document problem statements, user journeys and acceptance criteria.
  • Prioritize and phase work so value is delivered incrementally.
  • Break each problem into the right building blocks (AI agents, deterministic tools, data retrieval, integrations, user interfaces and human review), using AI only where it adds value.
  • Design right-sized solutions for scalability, performance and cost, aligned with TechInsights architecture, security and data standards.
  • Collaborate with Product, UX, Site Reliability Engineering and other Architects to define solutions.
  • Build rapid prototypes to validate approaches before full delivery.
  • Build solutions end to end, including agents, skills, tools, connectors, integrations and user interfaces.
  • Use Claude Code and other AI coding tools as a core part of delivery, reviewing output for quality, security and correctness.
  • Automate repeatable development and operational tasks with AI.
  • Define test plans with the Quality Assurance team and its testing agents.
  • Take solutions from prototype to production, working with Software Development when needed.
  • Set success metrics with sponsors, measure usage, AI output quality and business impact, and iterate based on results and feedback.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • A track record of taking ambiguous business problems through to production solutions.

  • Hands-on experience building with large language models (LLMs), including agents, tool use, data retrieval and output-quality evaluation.

  • Strong experience in solution architecture and/or solutions engineering.

  • Comfort writing, reviewing and debugging code with AI-based tools.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including explaining technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders and executives.

  • Confidence leading technical project teams: driving decisions and resolving conflicts constructively.

  • A collaborative style paired with the ability to make decisions and commit to timelines.

  • A bias for action and iteration, strong organization and attention to detail.

  • Strong critical thinking and the ability to spot underlying issues and the implications of decisions.

  • Experience with Claude Code or similar AI coding tools is an asset.

  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations is an asset.

What this role involves

WHO WE ARE

EnableComp earned its reputation in the toughest corners of the revenue cycle by solving the complex claims no one else could. We developed Complex Revenue Intelligence™ (CRI), a smarter approach to predict and prevent revenue loss. Powered by the e360 RCM® AI-driven platform and the most expansive complex revenue cycle data set, today EnableComp helps more than 1,000 hospitals nationwide recover $3 billion annually from complex claims, denials, and revenue recovery. By cutting through complexity, we help hospitals thrive, resulting in recognition as Black Book’s #1 Specialty RCM provider for complex claims and revenue integrity in 2024 and 2025, a multi-year Top Workplaces honoree, and a SOC 2 Type II and HITRUST e1-certified platform. Our Vision is to empower healthcare providers to focus on patient care, not revenue cycle complexity. Our Mission is to uncover what others miss—turning every client dollar recovered into insight that helps prevent future loss. We live our Core Values of Uncompromising Integrity, Ecstatic Clients, and Empowered Team Members by operating with trust, accountability, and a “we before me” mindset. We pursue Innovation and Profitable Growth through continuous improvement and thoughtful problem-solving, and we believe work should include Fun—celebrating success, recognizing our people, and maintaining healthy work-life balance.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Manager, Commercial Systems is responsible for owning and evolving the commercial systems that power EnableComp’s go-to-market engine — Salesforce, HubSpot, Gong, Clay, and Accord. This role treats the commercial stack as a product: a connected operating system that should get smarter, faster, and more automated every quarter, not just kept running. The ideal candidate is the owner and steward of how EnableComp’s revenue systems talk to each other, and increasingly, how AI does the connecting — using tools like Claude to redesign workflows and reduce manual work across the commercial organization, not just administer existing configuration.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as platform owner for Salesforce (system of record), HubSpot (marketing/demand gen), Gong (conversation intelligence), Clay (data enrichment/workflow automation), and Accord (mutual action plans/deal execution).
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, RevOps, and Client Success leadership to prioritize the systems roadmap and translate business requirements into technical specs and developer handoffs.
  • Develop and maintain the integration design across these tools — object models, data flows, triggers, and automations — so information moves cleanly from first touch to closed-won to renewal.
  • Analyze and translate GTM strategy into system design: new motions, territory or segmentation changes, and reporting needs all become clean, scalable configuration, not spaghetti workarounds.
  • Lead the use of AI (Claude and similar tools) as a core part of how the team works — building AI-assisted workflows, automations, and internal tools that reduce manual admin work across the commercial org.
  • Conduct data integrity and governance reviews across the stack: field standards, deduplication, permissioning, and audit-readiness.
  • Coordinate dashboards and reporting that give leadership real-time visibility into pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and rep performance.
  • Evaluate and pilot new RevTech and AI capabilities, building the business case and rollout plan for anything recommended.
  • Identify and manage the systems side of the deal lifecycle — pipeline stages, forecasting categories, quoting/CPQ-adjacent workflows, and MAP/mutual-close-plan tooling via Accord.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered)
  • 5+ years administering or managing Salesforce in a commercial/RevOps context (certifications a plus, not required)
  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot, Gong, and ideally Clay and/or Accord (or clearly transferable tools in the same category)
  • Real, demonstrated experience using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) to build workflows, automate tasks, or transform how a system or team operates — not just casual use
  • Strong SQL/SOQL or equivalent query fluency, and comfort translating messy business asks into clean data models
  • Experience writing technical specs and partnering with developers or implementation vendors to ship system changes
  • Excellent cross-functional communication skills; healthcare, RCM, or complex B2B sales environment experience is a plus
  • Timely and regular attendance.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS & PREREQUISITES

  • Minimal travel required (occasional on-site collaboration or team events).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • A product mindset — comfortable owning a roadmap, prioritizing competing requests, and iterating based on feedback; genuine curiosity about applying AI to eliminate manual, repetitive work
  • Practices and adheres to EnableComp’s Core Values, Vision and Mission.

EnableComp is an Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/D/V. All applicants will be considered for this position based upon experience and knowledge, without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, ancestry, marital, disabled or veteran status. We are committed to creating and maintaining a workforce environment that is free from any form of discrimination or harassment.

Operator AI Automation Engineer (Remote – LATAM & Philippines) at Urrly

Builds AI-powered automations, internal tools, dashboards, and workflow integrations to improve business operations.

Mid Remote Posted 5 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

AI Automation Engineer (Remote – LATAM & Philippines)

Join a fast-growing healthcare technology company as a hands-on AI-native builder focused on making real business workflows faster, clearer, and less manual. You’ll work directly with teams across operations, finance, clinical, and other business functions to understand how work gets done, find bottlenecks, and rapidly build practical tools using AI, automation, APIs, SQL, Python, and low-code technologies.

This is not a traditional software engineering role. It’s for someone who can walk into a department, quickly understand the process, spot what’s inefficient, and build something useful—often in days rather than months.

Role Details

  • Location: Fully remote; open to candidates based in Latin America or the Philippines
  • Compensation: USD 3,500–5,000 per month, flexible for the right candidate
  • Experience level: 2–4 years of relevant experience

What You’ll Do

  • Work with business teams to understand workflows, data processes, and operational bottlenecks.
  • Design, prototype, and deploy AI-powered automations, internal dashboards, lightweight applications, and workflow improvements.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools, APIs, automation platforms, SQL, Python, databases, and low-code technologies to move quickly.
  • Connect disconnected systems, reduce repetitive manual work, and improve accuracy across key processes.
  • Build reporting tools and internal applications that improve visibility and help teams make better decisions.
  • Identify practical ways to apply LLMs, AI agents, and related tools to improve productivity or accuracy.
  • Own projects from problem discovery through deployment, iteration, and measurable business impact.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–4 years of experience in software engineering, automation, data engineering, technical operations, or a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or comparable platforms.
  • Ability to work with APIs, databases, SQL, Python, and integration tools.
  • Experience building lightweight internal applications, dashboards, or workflow automations.
  • Strong analytical instincts and the ability to understand business processes quickly.
  • A self-starter who can identify problems, propose solutions, and execute without extensive specifications.
  • Comfort moving quickly, experimenting, and building practical solutions that solve real operational problems.

Prior forward-deployed engineering experience is not required. What matters most is demonstrated building ability, resourcefulness, business intuition, and the ability to deliver useful solutions.

What Success Looks Like

Within your first 90 days, you’ll have independently identified and deployed multiple improvements that measurably reduce manual work, improve operational visibility, increase accuracy, or accelerate key business processes.

You’ll be evaluated primarily on the business value of what you build—not lines of code or technical complexity.

Why This Role Is Different

You’ll get broad exposure to how a healthcare technology company operates, direct access to business stakeholders, and the autonomy to turn ideas into working solutions quickly. This is a role for someone who values curiosity, ownership, creativity, speed, and tangible results.

At Urrly, fairness matters. We use AI to review every application against the same clear requirements for the role. Candidates are evaluated only on job-related factors such as skills, certifications, and experience, not personal attributes.

  • Build dashboards, reporting tools, and lightweight internal applications that improve visibility and decision-making.
  • Apply LLMs, AI agents, and related technologies where they can meaningfully improve productivity or accuracy.
  • Own projects from problem discovery through deployment, iteration, and measurable business impact.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in software engineering, automation, data engineering, technical operations, or a similar role.
  • Comfort moving quickly, experimenting, and building practical solutions rather than over-engineered systems.

Prior experience as a forward-deployed engineer is not required. Demonstrated building ability, resourcefulness, business intuition, and the ability to deliver useful solutions matter more.

What Success Looks Like

Within your first 90 days, you’ll have independently identified and deployed multiple improvements that measurably reduce manual work, improve operational visibility, increase accuracy, or accelerate key business processes.

You’ll have broad exposure to how a healthcare technology company operates, direct access to business stakeholders, and the autonomy to turn ideas into working solutions quickly.

At Urrly, fairness matters. We use AI to review every application against the same clear requirements for the role. Candidates are evaluated only on job-related factors such as skills, certifications, and experience, not personal attributes.

Apply now and get a response within 24 hours.
