Data Analytics Insights Manager II, Retail Insights at Instacart

Translate grocery retail data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations for key partner accounts through deep-dive analysis and compelling business storytelling.

Mid Hybrid Posted about 22 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

We’re transforming the grocery industry

At Instacart, we invite the world to share love through food because we believe everyone should have access to the food they love and more time to enjoy it together. Where others see a simple need for grocery delivery, we see exciting complexity and endless opportunity to serve the varied needs of our community. We work to deliver an essential service that customers rely on to get their groceries and household goods, while also offering safe and flexible earnings opportunities to Instacart Personal Shoppers.

Instacart has become a lifeline for millions of people, and we’re building the team to help push our shopping cart forward. If you’re ready to do the best work of your life, come join our table.

Instacart is a Flex First team

There’s no one-size fits all approach to how we do our best work. Our employees have the flexibility to choose where they do their best work—whether it’s from home, an office, or your favorite coffee shop—while staying connected and building community through regular in-person events. Learn more about our flexible approach to where we work.

Why this role is on the menu

Instacart’s Retail Insights team sits at the intersection of the industry’s richest grocery data, our most strategic retail partnerships, and the CPG category intelligence that powers growth across the platform. As our retailer relationships scale and the complexity of our business deepens, we need someone who can turn that data into decisions — not just reports. We’re hiring an Insights Manager II to serve as the analytical backbone for a portfolio of key grocery retail partners, translating ambiguous business questions into clear answers and actionable strategies. This role sits at the intersection of data, storytelling, and commercial impact, and the person who fills it will have a direct line of sight to how Instacart grows its most important partnerships.

What you’ll cook up in your first year

  • Retailer partners make better, faster decisions backed by your analysis.
  • Root causes get found, not just flagged. When performance dips or opportunities surface, you’ve established a reputation for going deeper than the dashboard — your deep-dive analyses have directly influenced how partners run their business on Instacart.
  • QBRs and sell-in conversations land with impact. You’ve partnered with Business Development to craft business cases and quarterly business reviews that are analytically rigorous, narratively compelling, and tied to outcomes retailers care about.
  • Cross-functional teams are better equipped to answer “why” and “what’s next.” You’ve built or improved internal tools, frameworks, and narratives that help stakeholders move from raw data to clear direction — and the “so what” is never left unanswered.
  • You’re the go-to expert on your category and partner landscape. Internal teams rely on you as the subject matter expert on macro business, operational, and customer trends across your set of retailers — and that expertise shapes strategy, not just reporting.

The secret ingredients we’re looking for

You think in outcomes, not outputs. You’re as comfortable in a SQL query as you are in a boardroom presentation, and you know that neither matters unless the insight lands with the right person at the right moment.

Must-have pantry staples (Minimum Qualifications)

  • Strong SQL skills, including writing complex queries to pull and analyze data
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with experience presenting to senior internal and external stakeholders
  • Intellectual curiosity and a drive to get to the root cause of a problem
  • Hands-on AI experience and knowledge, including applying AI tools to analytical workflows

Optional garnishes (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Deeper technical experience, such as detailed modeling and dashboarding
  • Experience at a technology company
  • Experience in consulting or finance

Data Analytics Cribl: Analytics Business Partner

Translates business events into data models and reporting systems, serving as the DRI for integration of acquisitions, product launches, and go-to-market shifts across the organization.

Mid Remote Posted 1 day ago We Work Remotely — Programming
What this role involves

Headquarters: Remote - United States

Join the company that’s building the telemetry infrastructure for the AI era. At Cribl, we partner with IT and Security teams at many of the world’s biggest enterprises, including half of the Fortune 100, to bridge the gap between AI ambition and infrastructure reality. As the AI Platform for Telemetry, we give customers the choice, control, and flexibility to manage and analyze telemetry for both humans and agents, so they can build what’s next.

We’re one of the fastest‑growing private companies and a leading player in a massive, fast‑moving market. With a global workforce, we’re remote‑first and grounded in a simple idea: software is a people business. Cribl is the place where curious, collaborative people can do their best work, grow fast, and bring their full selves to the herd.

Why You’ll Love This Role

At Cribl, we're transforming from a flagship-product company into a multi-product powerhouse - and every non-routine business event, whether an acquisition, a product launch, or a go-to-market shift, adds complexity our data, definitions, and reporting weren't built to handle. As the Analytics Business Partner, you're the person who closes that gap - translating a new product or customer into our existing data, systems and reporting: how it connects to what we already have, how value is attributed, how we define and track it going forward. Reporting to the VP of Data & Analytics — part of Cribl's broader Business Operations organization alongside Strategy & Operations and Business Effectiveness — you'll operate horizontally across the business rather than embedding in a single function.

This is a high-impact role for a strategist who thrives on ambiguity and builds order from chaos. If you are eager to contribute to a company poised for generational success, we want to hear from you.

As An Active Member Of Our Team, You Will…

  • Diagnose and Drive the Solution. When a non-routine business event doesn't fit with how we currently track or report on the business, define the solution. Whether a system change, a new process or policy, or a different data model, serve as the Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) for working with the necessary x-functional teams to get it delivered
  • M&A Integration. When we acquire a company, own and drive how its products and customers fit into our existing reporting and data models, ensuring we can capture the impact of the acquisition post deal close
  • New Product Launch. When we launch a new product, understand how Product defines its success metrics, and make sure our models, definitions, and reporting can track against those metrics post launch
  • Keep Execution Moving. When a change spans across the Data and Analytics team (Data Engineering, Analytics, Data Science, Data Governance), sequence who does what first, own the handoffs between them, catch duplication or gaps before they cost the team time, and push the pace when the event demands it
  • Stand Up the Business Intelligence Council. Establish and run the forum where cross-functional leaders align on key measures, attributes, and hierarchy definitions, and on prioritization across competing data and analytics efforts — and drive it to actual resolution, rather than let it stall as a standing meeting.
  • Know The Business. Maintain a working picture of how GTM, Finance, Product, and other functions operate, knowing who to engage so a project doesn’t start or drift, without the right people engaged. For example, understanding how Product Marketing is positioning a new feature, how it needs to be represented across our applications in partnership with IT, and how Finance will measure its impact, before scoping the data work for it.
  • We are a remote-first company and work happens across many time-zones – you may be required to occasionally perform duties outside your standard working hours

If You've Got It - We Want It

  • 8+ years in management consulting, in-house strategy, business operations, or business analytics, with a track record of operating in unfamiliar functions and reframing ambiguously-posed questions
  • Fluency across GTM, Finance, Product, and other functions - enough to know that 'customer' may mean something different to Sales than it does to Finance, and to reconcile the difference rather than pick a side
  • You can join multiple tables, write a CTE, and get the aggregation grain right - enough to answer your own question - though hands-on query and dashboard work won't be your primary responsibility in this role
  • Given a reporting issue, you know not to default to a “data-only” answer - you can tell whether the real problem is a system that isn't capturing the right data, a process nobody owns, or a data model that no longer matches the business
  • Ability to flex your communication style as needed - equally fluent giving execs the top-line takeaway and working through the nuances with the operational teams to drive a solution
  • First hand experience ensuring a business’s data and reporting keep up following an acquisition or new product launch - designing and driving the solution so the business doesn’t lose visibility into itself
  • Bonus: experience inside a post-close M&A integration, a new product introduction, or a go-to-market model change
  • Bonus: experience in late-stage B2B SaaS startups (i.e., Series E+) and / or early public B2B SaaS companies (e.g., 3-5k employees)

  • Experience with data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Looker, DOMO, or Power BI) to bring data insights to life for broad audiences
  • Basic statistics proficiency: experiment design, hypothesis testing, statistical significance, probability, and distributions
  • Ability to translate business intelligence needs from a variety of stakeholders into technical execution and clear presentation

Nice to Have ⭐

While not required, we would be especially excited if you bring:

Analyzes clinical data completeness, interoperability, facility coverage, and data quality to guide vendor strategy and pipeline investments.

Mid Remote Posted 4 days ago We Work Remotely — Programming
What this role involves

Headquarters: Remote - USA

Counterpart Health is an AI‑powered physician enablement platform that delivers clinical insights to providers at the point of care. Our flagship product, Counterpart Assistant, is embedded into clinicians’ workflows and integrates with EHR systems, helping care teams drive value-based outcomes, close care gaps, and proactively manage chronic disease. As we grow our data ecosystem, expanding across legacy interoperability networks, QHIN/TEFCA connectivity, and direct HIE integrations, we need rigorous analytical ownership to ensure the clinical data powering our platform is complete, reliable, and actionable.

You will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for clinical data completeness and effectiveness at Counterpart Health. Sitting within the Data Products pillar, this role owns the end-to-end understanding of our clinical data lifecycle: where data comes from, where it breaks down, and how each vendor or integration pathway performs across our customer markets. Your analysis will directly shape vendor strategy, facility targeting, and data pipeline investments, thus ensuring that the clinical evidence our care teams depend on is consistently available and trustworthy.

As a Data Analyst, you will:

  • Proactively identify and monitor which healthcare facilities consistently generate high-quality, usable clinical documents (e.g., EHRs, discharge summaries, procedure notes) to precisely locate and quantify data gaps.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses by mapping and correlating facility-specific data across disparate sources like structured claims, clinical care summaries (CCDAs), and ADT messages to uncover systematic patterns of missingness, latency,
  • Experience with TEFCA/QHIN frameworks and evolving national interoperability standards.
  • Familiarity with vendor-specific data exchange platforms (e.g., Bamboo Health, HSX, Particle Health, Kno2).
  • Background in value-based care, population health, or clinical data operations.
  • Experience with claims-clinical data reconciliation (e.g., matching EOBs to clinical encounter records).
  • Comfort working with Python or similar tools for data manipulation and automation.
  • or incongruence in clinical records.
  • Establish and maintain clear, transparent reporting on ADT coverage across key geographic, organizational, and technological dimensions (e.g., by county, facility, and underlying EMR system).
  • Based on rigorous analysis of data flow and quality, recommend and guide the implementation of optimal technical configurations for existing data vendors (e.g., Bamboo Health, PCC, Experian, HSX).
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and proof-of-concepts for potential new data integration technologies (e.g., Kno2 vs. Particle Health) to assess viability, quality improvements, and strategic fit.
  • Systematically determine the existence and completeness of documentation associated with specific patient visits or encounters.
  • Develop a data-driven framework for prioritizing facility targets for direct data acquisition, assessing impact, cost-effectiveness, and technical feasibility.
  • Inform and guide vendor strategy around national initiatives such as TEFCA and QHIN adoption, ensuring Counterpart Health is positioned for compliant, high-quality data exchange.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product Managers to define data requirements, Engineers to implement reliable pipelines, and Clinical teams to validate data quality and clinical utility.
  • Act as a critical liaison to identify and remove operational and technical bottlenecks, ensuring a predictable, scalable, and reliable clinical data flow across all customer markets.

You should get in touch if you have:

  • 5+ years of hands-on data analytics experience, with direct exposure to healthcare data interoperability
  • Strong hands-on experience with healthcare data standards: HL7, CCDA, and ADT messages.
  • Proficiency in SQL and comfort working with large, complex datasets (claims, clinical logs, interoperability data).
  • Background in analyzing interoperability networks (e.g., Carequality, CommonWell, eHealthExchange) or HIE integrations.
  • Skilled at data visualization and able to present complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong investigative mindset, i.e., you enjoy digging into the “why” behind missing data and diverging metrics.
  • Self-directed and able to manage multiple analytical projects (vendor comparisons, visit-level reconciliation) without constant supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with TEFCA/QHIN frameworks and evolving national interoperability standards.
  • Familiarity with vendor-specific data exchange platforms (e.g., Bamboo Health, HSX, Particle Health, Kno2).
  • Background in value-based care, population health, or clinical data operations.
  • Experience with claims-clinical data reconciliation (e.g., matching EOBs to clinical encounter records).
  • Comfort working with Python or similar tools for data manipulation and automation.

Benefits Overview:

  • Financial Well-Being: Our commitment to attracting and retaining top talent begins with a competitive base salary and equity opportunities. Additionally, we offer a performance-based bonus program, 401k matching, and regular compensation reviews to recognize and reward exceptional contributions.
  • Physical Well-Being: We prioritize the health and well-being of our employees and their families by providing comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage. Your health matters to us, and we invest in ensuring you have access to quality healthcare.

Data Analytics Business Analytics Engineer, Customer Insights at Rad AI

Builds governed data models, dashboards, and embedded analytics while partnering with healthcare customers to define reporting insights.

Mid Posted 4 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

About Rad AI

At Rad AI, we’re on a mission to transform healthcare with artificial intelligence. Founded by a radiologist, our AI-driven solutions are revolutionizing radiology—saving time, reducing burnout, and improving patient care. With one of the largest proprietary radiology report datasets in the world, our AI has helped uncover hundreds of new cancer diagnoses and reduced error rates in tens of millions of radiology reports by nearly 50%.

Rad AI has secured over $140M in funding, including a recently oversubscribed Series C ($68M round) led by Transformation Capital, bringing our valuation to $528M. Our investors include Khosla Ventures, World Innovation Lab, Gradient Ventures, Cone Health Ventures, and others—all backing our mission to empower physicians with cutting-edge AI.

Our latest advancements in generative AI are used by thousands of radiologists daily, supporting more than one-third of radiology groups and healthcare systems and nearly 50% of all medical imaging in the U.S. at partners including Cone Health, Jefferson Einstein Health, Geisinger, Guthrie Healthcare System, and Henry Ford Health.

Recognized as one of the most promising healthcare AI companies by CB Insights and AuntMinnie, and ranked by Deloitte as the 19th fastest-growing company in North America, we are building AI-powered solutions that make a real impact. Most recently, Rad AI was named to CNBC’s Disruptor 50 list, highlighting the innovation and momentum behind our mission.

If you’re ready to shape the future of healthcare, we’d love to have you on our team!

About the role

Rad AI is building out embedded analytics inside our reporting platform — giving radiology groups and health systems self-service visibility into their own reporting data: turnaround times, template usage, AI utilization, auto-launch accuracy, and more.

This role sits at the center of that effort: part data engineer, part analyst, part customer-facing partner. You’ll work with customers to understand what they actually need to see, then build the governed data models and dashboards that deliver it correctly, at scale, across customers with very different data volumes, specialties, and reporting patterns.

This is not a back-office reporting job. You’ll work with customer stakeholders (radiology administrators, quality leads, IT/informatics teams), with Product and an embedded analytics partner alongside you, translating ambiguous asks (“we want to see if our new templates are actually helping”) into rigorous, reusable metrics and explaining them when a customer’s data looks stranger than expected.

What you’ll do

  • Get the data foundation right. Connect the new data platform to the existing warehouse, troubleshoot and fix data quality issues per customer, and help define the data contract that doesn’t exist yet.

  • Gather and translate requirements with customers and internal partners. Join discovery conversations with radiology group administrators, quality/ops leads, and informatics teams to understand what they’re trying to measure and decide, not just what they initially ask for.

  • Design and build the semantic layer and dashboards that serve customer requirements: governed metrics, joins, and reusable models that hold up across customers rather than one-off reports per account.

  • Apply real statistical rigor to healthcare reporting data. Radiology data is messy and high-stakes: small sample sizes at some sites, outliers from edge-case studies, seasonality, case-mix differences across specialties and facility types. You’ll need to know when a metric needs a confidence interval, a risk-adjustment, or an exclusion note, not just a number.

  • Use AI as a core part of your workflow. Direct AI agents to describe, model, and document data relationships, and verify what they produce.

  • Own data quality end-to-end for customer-facing outputs: catch and explain anomalies before a customer does, document known caveats (sample-size exclusions, data lag, definitional edge cases) directly in the deliverable.

  • Build durable data products, not one-off answers. Use dbt/Snowflake-style modeling practices so a metric built for one customer’s dashboard is reusable for the next, instead of re-derived from scratch each time.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to prioritize which metrics and dashboards actually move the needle for customers versus which are just “nice to have.”

  • Explain data to non-data audiences. You’ll present findings to radiologists, hospital administrators, and executives who are expert clinicians but not data scientists. The ability to make a confidence interval or caveat meaningful to that audience is as important as computing it correctly.

What you’ll bring

  • 2–5 years in an analytics engineering, data science, or business/BI analyst role, ideally with some customer- or stakeholder-facing exposure (not purely internal reporting). Hunger and curiosity matter more to us than years.

  • Demonstrated AI fluency. Concrete examples from the last six months of how AI tools have meaningfully changed the way you work with data, including how you’ve used them to describe, model, or document datasets and how you check their output.

  • Strong SQL — comfortable writing and optimizing complex queries, not just filtering existing tables.

  • Working statistics fluency: confidence intervals, significance testing, sample-size considerations, handling outliers and skewed distributions, and the judgment to know when a metric needs a caveat versus when it’s solid.

  • Experience with a modern governed BI/semantic layer tool (we use Omni; Looker, Sigma, ThoughtSpot, or similar is great) and a SQL/Python notebook or exploration environment (we use Hex; Mode or similar is fine).

  • Comfortable in dbt/Snowflake-style modeling environments: building something once and having it hold up for the next ten customers.

  • Direct experience defining or maintaining a semantic layer (entity/metric definitions, joins, governed fields, e.g., LookML, dbt Semantic Layer, or an equivalent governed-BI modeling layer), not just consuming one someone else built.

  • Comfort with ambiguity. You’re energized, not rattled, by undefined problems, messy data, and no existing playbook.

  • Demonstrated ability to run discovery with external stakeholders: asking good follow-up questions, pushing back on vague asks, and landing on a defensible metric definition.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, able to present data findings to a non-technical, clinical audience without dumbing down the substance.

  • Healthcare, health IT, or other regulated-industry data experience is a strong plus (HIPAA awareness, understanding why “it depends on the payer/facility/specialty” is often the right answer).

  • Familiarity with radiology-specific concepts (PACS, HL7/FHIR, turnaround time, RVU, template-driven reporting) is a bonus, not a requirement. We’ll teach the domain if the analytical and statistical instincts are there.

Nice to have

  • Experience building or maintaining a customer-facing (vs. internal-only) analytics product, i.e., you understand that a dashboard a paying customer sees is held to a different bar than an internal Slack chart.

  • Exposure to multi-tenant data governance (row-level security, per-customer data isolation) in an embedded analytics context.

  • Prior experience in a company selling into hospitals/health systems, understanding procurement and IT review cycles.

Join our world-class team as we build and deploy AI solutions that empower physicians and transform patient care—making a meaningful impact on millions of lives. Driven by our mission,  we prioritize transparency, inclusion, and close collaboration, bringing together exceptional people to revolutionize healthcare. If you’re passionate about driving innovation and delivering impactful healthcare solutions, we’d love to hear from you!

What this role involves

DataKind is looking for a Data Integration Specialist (Contract-to-Hire Remote-US)!

Location

This is a remote contract position until February 2027 (with possibility of conversion to a full-time staff position) for approximately 40 hours/week on average, that can be based anywhere in the U.S. and requires the majority of working hours each day to fall between 8am and 6pm Eastern Standard Time.

Compensation

Rate: $60–$67 per hour

Overview

Be part of something big: help unify data across multiple university systems as a key contributor to a major higher education initiative. You’ll play a critical role in consolidating data across multiple higher education systems using your expertise in data schemas to map, transform, and validate data, ensuring every piece is accurate, consistent, and ready to power smarter decisions. The broader aim is to provide colleges and universities with technology tools that will make their data ready for analyses to support student outcomes.

Reporting to the Director, Research, this role is a chance to work on a forward-thinking, high-impact project alongside a collaborative, driven team, while building hands-on experience that will set you apart in the field. If you’re passionate about data and eager to make a real difference in higher education, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform comprehensive data mapping and execute transformations to build a unified data model for a higher education product.
  • Work extensively with higher education system schemas and databases, primarily from ed tech platforms.
  • Review, prioritize, and analyze data columns from various ed-tech systems, such as SIS and LMS platforms for inclusion in the integrated data model.
  • Using higher education data, evaluate and validate data mappings and transformations to ensure accuracy and consistency at every step.
  • Contribute to advanced data transformation processes that enable mapping across schemas, including splitting or concatenating data fields and applying filtering and if-then logic before populating target data fields.
  • Support data quality assurance efforts using tools like dbt and Great Expectations.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teammates and external users to understand data needs and ensure the final data model meets real-world operational requirements.
  • Attend calls and video meetings as required to support your scope of work.

Qualifications

Required

  • Deep alignment with DataKind’s mission and values and demonstrated commitment to educational equity and data-driven social impact.
  • The ability to translate data from one structure to another, including spotting fields that only partly match, places where meaning gets lost, and fields that need to be split or merged.
  • Skill in writing data dictionaries and mapping specifications, and in tracking where data came from, so every transformation is traceable and repeatable.
  • Related to the above, experience with data architecture and governance as a foundation for producing insights from institutional data.
  • Direct experience working with higher education data schemas and databases, including data from student information systems (SIS), Learning Management Systems (LMS), and related ed-tech platforms.
  • Strong understanding of data transformations and checks of data quality.
  • Proven ability to review and prioritize data columns across multiple systems for integration.
  • Familiarity with SQL and Python.
  • Strong project and time management skills, including the ability to gauge how long a task will take, keep deadlines on track, and communicate with team members about deliverables.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to use Git for version control.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL.
  • Experience with complex data transformation tools such as dbt and data validation frameworks like Great Expectations.
  • Prior experience in higher education data environments or data integration firms.
