    • Serve as a subject matter expert for commission-related inquiries, providing support and guidance to sales teams and other departments.

Finance Accountant - UK Clients - Remote at Sleek

Prepares bookkeeping, VAT returns, draft year-end accounts, and tax filings for UK small business clients using Xero.

Mid Remote Posted 2 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Through proprietary software and AI, along with a focus on customer delight, Sleek makes the back-office easy for micro SMEs.

We give Entrepreneurs time back to focus on what they love doing - growing their business and being with customers. With a surging number of Entrepreneurs globally, we are innovating in a highly lucrative space.

We operate across 3 business segments:

Corporate Secretary: Automating the company incorporation, secretarial, filing, Nominee Director, mailroom and immigration processes via custom online robots and SleekSign. We are the market leaders in Singapore with ~5% market share of all new business incorporations

Accounting & Bookkeeping: Redefining what it means to do Accounting, Bookkeeping, Tax and Payroll thanks to our proprietary SleekBooks ledger, AI tools and exceptional customer service

FinTech payments: Overcoming a key challenge for Entrepreneurs by offering digital banking services to new businesses

Sleek launched in 2017 and now has around 17,500 customers across our offices in Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia and the UK. We have around 600 staff with an intact startup mindset. We have recently raised Series B financing off the back of >70% compound annual growth in Revenue over the last 5 years. Sleek has been recognised by The Financial Times, The Straits Times, Forbes and LinkedIn as one of the fastest growing companies in Asia. Backed by world-class investors, we are on track to be one of the few cash flow positive, tech-enabled unicorns based out of Asia Pacific.

Mission of the role

Prepare bookkeeping, VAT returns and draft year end accounts for UK small business clients. You work in a pod of five led by a UK-based Senior Accounts Manager: two senior accountants, two accountants and a bookkeeper, serving around 300 UK small business clients from January and growing to around 500 through 2027. Until the manager starts in January, you work in one of our existing UK teams. A Senior Accountant reviews your work. Your work is on time and right the first time, and as you grow you take on year end accounts and corporation tax returns.

What you’ll do

  • Keep clients’ books up to date in Xero: bank reconciliations, sales and purchase ledgers, and month and year end adjustments.
  • Prepare VAT returns under Making Tax Digital for review.
  • Prepare draft year end accounts and, as you grow, corporation tax returns.
  • Check your own work before sending it for review, and act on corrections.
  • Chase clients early for missing records, and tell your Senior Accountant in good time when a deadline is at risk.
  • Keep client records and workflow data accurate.
  • Use the AI tools we are building into our products and workflow

Key outcomes in the first 6–12 months

  1. Your bookkeeping and VAT returns are ready for review before their deadlines, with client delays chased early and recorded.
  2. Your work needs fewer review rounds, measured from when you start.
  3. By month 12, you prepare draft year end accounts and CT600s for review, not just bookkeeping and VAT.
  4. Workflow data for your clients is accurate and up to date.

Must-have experience

  1. A degree in commerce, accounting or finance (for example B.Com or BS Accountancy).
  2. At least 2 years in accounting, including at least 1 on UK clients: bookkeeping, bank reconciliations and VAT returns.
  3. Confident with Xero, QuickBooks or a similar cloud accounting package.
  4. Written English good enough to email UK clients directly.
  5. Based in India or the Philippines, with the right to work there.
  6. Able to work a shift that overlaps UK business hours.

Nice to have

  1. Has prepared draft UK year end accounts or CT600s

Must-have attributes

  1. Ownership: you finish what you start and fix problems rather than pass them on.
  2. Accuracy: you check your own numbers before anyone else has to.
  3. Takes feedback well: you act on corrections and don’t make the same mistake twice.
  4. Great communicator: clear in writing, with UK clients and with your reviewer.
  5. Process, data and compliance: you follow the process and keep records clean.
  6. One team: you help the rest of the pod, not just your own clients.
  7. Open to AI: comfortable with our tools taking on more of the routine work.

The interview process

  • TA Screening Call: A 30 minute call with our Talent Acquisition team
  • Live Technical Assessment: A ~60–90 minute live skills test to assess your hands-on bookkeeping capability.
  • Technical Interview : A 45 - 60 minute interview with the Accounting manager who will assess your technical skills.
  • Soft Skills Interview: A ~15-30 minute interview with the hiring team to evaluate real-world work scenarios against our core behavioural values.
  • Reference Verification: Prior to final offer confirmation, we will conduct one professional reference check with your recent direct manager or supervisor. To keep the process moving smoothly, this step may be initiated during the final interview stages.

Requirement for background screening Please be aware that Sleek is a regulated entity and as such is required to perform different levels of background checks on staff depending on their role. This may include using external vendors to verify:

  • Your education
  • Any criminal history
  • Any political exposure
  • Any bankruptcy or adverse credit history We will ask for your consent before conducting these checks. Depending on your role at Sleek, an adverse result on one of these checks may prohibit you from passing probation. By submitting a job application, you confirm that you have read and agree to our Data Privacy Statement for Candidates, found at Sleek.com.

Some other great things about working at Sleek…

Humility and kindness: Humility is a core attribute we hire for, which means we have a culture of not taking ourselves too seriously and being able to laugh. Kindness is also incredibly important. We are committed to creating and nurturing a diverse and inclusive environment.

Flexibility: You’ll be able to work remotely. If you need to start early or start late to cater to your family or other needs, we don’t mind, so long as you get your work done and proactively communicate. You can also work fully remote from anywhere in the world for 1 month each year.

Financial benefits: We pay competitive market salaries and provide staff with generous paid time off and holiday schedules. Certain staff at Sleek are also eligible for our employee share ownership plan and can share in the upside of our stellar growth trajectory as we work toward listing on a prominent stock exchange in the Asia Pacific region.

Personal growth: You’ll get a lot of responsibility and autonomy at Sleek - we move at a fast pace so you’ll be making decisions, making mistakes and learning. There’s also a range of internal and external facing training programmes we run. We’re also at the forefront of utilising AI in our space and are developing a regional centre of AI excellence. It is our intention that if you leave Sleek, you leave as a more well-rounded person and professional.

Sleek is also a proudly certified B Corp. Since we started our journey in 2017, we’ve been committed to building Sleek as a force for good. In just over 5 years, we’ve joined a community of industry leaders like Patagonia, Ben & Jerry’s, and P&G who are building an inclusive, equitable, and a regenerative economy.

Finance Associate, Strategic Finance & Investor Relations at Cloudflare

Supports investor relations, financial modeling, earnings cycles, investor events, and strategic finance projects for senior leadership.

Mid Onsite Posted 3 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

About Us

At Cloudflare, we are on a mission to help build a better Internet. Today the company runs one of the world’s largest networks that powers millions of websites and other Internet properties for customers ranging from individual bloggers to SMBs to Fortune 500 companies. Cloudflare protects and accelerates any Internet application online without adding hardware, installing software, or changing a line of code. Internet properties powered by Cloudflare all have web traffic routed through its intelligent global network, which gets smarter with every request. As a result, they see significant improvement in performance and a decrease in spam and other attacks. Cloudflare was named to Entrepreneur Magazine’s Top Company Cultures list and ranked among the World’s Most Innovative Companies by Fast Company.

At Cloudflare, we’re not looking for people who wait for a polished roadmap; we’re looking for the builders who see the cracks in the Internet that everyone else has simply learned to live with. We value candidates who have the instinct to spot a “normalized” problem and the AI-native curiosity to create a solution using the latest tools. Our culture is built on iteration, leveraging AI to ship faster today to make it better tomorrow, while ensuring that every improvement, no matter how small, is shared across the team to lift everyone up. If you’re the type of person who values curiosity over bureaucracy, and that AI is a partner in solving tough problems to keep the Internet moving forward, you’ll fit right in.

Available Locations:

  • San Francisco, CA

About the team

The Finance team is a critical pillar of Cloudflare’s success, translating strategy into financial outcomes, and serving as a trusted voice to the public markets, the Board, and our shareholders. The Investor Relations team is a small, high-impact group that tells Cloudflare’s financial story to the public markets — translating one of the most differentiated technology platforms in the world into a clear, credible, and compelling investment narrative.

About the role

Cloudflare is looking for an Associate, Investor Relations & Strategic Finance to join our lean IR team and help power how we engage with Wall Street. You will be a core contributor to the quarterly earnings cycle, our consensus and financial modeling work, investor events including our annual Investor Day, and strategic finance projects for senior leadership.

This is a hands-on, high-visibility role. The work you produce will go directly to the CFO, CEO, Board, and public markets, so we hold ourselves to an exceptionally high bar on accuracy. You will work closely with Finance, Accounting, Legal, Communications, FP&A, and the executive team, and you will get broad exposure to the business and to the public markets. We are AI-native in how we work, and we expect you to treat modern tooling as a force multiplier on insight, productivity, and rigor.

What you’ll do

Quarterly earnings and consensus

  • Support the end-to-end quarterly earnings process, helping draft and assemble the press release, supplemental financial information, prepared remarks, Q&A prep, and investor deck.
  • Build and maintain our consensus model: collect and analyze sell-side estimates and models, and benchmark them against internal forecasts.
  • Support the guidance process, including share count forecasting, sensitivity analyses, and supporting materials for leadership.
  • Drive tie-out and validation work so that every figure, claim, and disclosure across the press release, supplemental, scripts, Q&A, deck, 10-Q, and 10-K is accurate and consistent.
  • Help prepare for earnings Q&A: anticipated questions, peer transcript research, key stats and proof points, and live-call backup material.
  • Coordinate the post-earnings analyst callback program, including scheduling, notes, and feedback summaries.

Investor engagement

  • Support day-to-day engagement with sell-side analysts and institutional investors, including responding to inbound requests and maintaining our investor database.
  • Help plan and run investor events, including sell-side conferences, one-on-ones, on-site investor visits, and non-deal roadshows.
  • Prepare briefing materials for the CEO, CFO, and other executives ahead of investor meetings, including investor profiles, talking points, and Q&A prep.
  • Maintain core IR collateral, including the investor presentation, fact sheets, and IR website content.
  • Analyze shareholder ownership and support investor targeting.

Investor Day and strategic finance projects

  • Support the planning and execution of our annual Investor Day, including the invite tracker and registration, content drafting, validation, and day-of logistics.
  • Contribute to strategic finance projects such as peer benchmarking, competitive analyses, long-range financial modeling, and ad-hoc analyses for senior leadership.

Analytics and tooling

  • Monitor and synthesize analyst coverage, peer results, investor sentiment, and industry trends into clear, actionable summaries for leadership.
  • Build and maintain the models, dashboards, trackers, and validation tools that let a small team operate at scale.
  • Use AI-native tooling and automation to improve speed, accuracy, and insight across the IR function.

Examples of desirable skills, knowledge and experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in investment banking, equity research, investor relations, FP&A, corporate finance, or equity investing; exposure to public technology companies is a plus.
  • Strong financial modeling skills, including building and maintaining operating models, consensus models, and share count and dilution forecasts.
  • Solid understanding of financial statements, public-company reporting, and valuation; familiarity with SaaS or consumption-based revenue models is a plus.
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to draft clear, concise materials for senior executives and to turn complex financial or technical concepts into simple narratives.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, and pride in getting every number right.
  • An ownership mindset: you are organized, take initiative, and can manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment, especially during earnings season.
  • High-trust collaboration, with the ability to work effectively with teams across Finance, Accounting, Legal, and Communications.
  • AI-native curiosity and skill: fluency with modern AI tooling and a track record of using it to amplify your impact.
  • Sound judgment with confidential information, including awareness of materiality, fair disclosure, and Reg FD (or a strong willingness to learn).
  • Genuine interest in cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, developer platforms, or AI, and in the public markets.

Compensation

Compensation may be adjusted depending on work location.

  • For Bay Area based hires: Estimated annual salary of $117,000 - $161,000

Equity

This role is eligible to participate in Cloudflare’s equity plan.

We’re proudly digital-first, giving most Upstarters the flexibility to do their best work from wherever they thrive, alongside teammates across 80+ cities in the US and Canada. Digital-first doesn’t mean distant. We’re intentional about in-person connection through team onsites, planning sessions, and moments that spark creativity and trust. And whether you choose to work primarily from home or collaborate in-person from one of our offices in Columbus, Austin, the Bay Area, or New York City, you’ll have the support to work in the way that works best for you.

If you’re energized by tackling meaningful problems, excited to innovate with purpose, and motivated by work that truly matters, we’d love to hear from you.

The Capital Markets team is the funding engine for Upstart’s AI lending marketplace. We partner with leading institutional investors across a diverse range of financing and funding solutions including securitizations, whole loan sales, co-investment partnerships and other structured transactions.

You thrive in nimble, fast-paced environments, with an exceptional ability to bring clarity and structure to complexity. We are looking for someone who shares our passion for harnessing financial innovation and capital markets to expand access to credit at a massive scale.

Position Location - Local team members are encouraged to meet in person in the New York, NY or Burlingame, CA office once to three times weekly and work from home the rest of the time.

Travel Requirements - As a digital first company, the majority of your work can be accomplished remotely. The majority of our employees can live and work anywhere in the U.S and are required to travel for in-person collaborating via regular onsites. The in-person sessions’ cadence varies depending on the team and role; most teams meet ~twice per quarter for 3-4 consecutive days at a time.

Time Zone Requirements - This team operates on the East/West Coast time zones.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Manage end-to-end investor relationships: structuring, term negotiation, deal execution
  • Drive clarity in ambiguous environments and manage competing priorities with high quality execution, across multiple stakeholders (legal, operations, analytics, accounting)
  • Contribute to building a scalable, resilient capital markets infrastructure as we grow
  • Provide cross functional teams and senior leaders with a clear, well-calibrated view of investor sentiment, market appetite, and emerging funding opportunities
  • Coach and mentor other team members regardless of title/level – you clearly bring something unique to the table!

What we’re looking for:

  • 6-8 years of relevant experience in Capital Markets, Structured Finance/Products, investment banking, or related fintech roles
  • Extensive modeling, credit analysis, and transaction documentation review skills
  • Track record of exercising sound judgment on risk allocation and commercial terms
  • Knowledge of consumer lending product (unsecured PL, auto, HELOC) is a plus

Owns FP&A models, budgeting, forecasting, KPI dashboards, and executive and board financial reporting.

What this role involves

In the time it takes you to read this job description, RapidSOS will have handled ~1,380 emergencies.

At RapidSOS, we are committed to using technology to build a safer, stronger future and working together to save lives. We’re in an exciting phase of growth, welcoming new members from across the globe to our mission-driven, ambitious, and inclusive team. Our work is founded on our values of trust and safety, pioneering, urgency, and purpose over pride, all of which support a company culture where people can innovate, collaborate, grow, and, above all, make an impact.

RapidSOS is the leading public safety AI company that unlocks mission-critical intelligence for emergency response. It harnesses artificial and human intelligence to fuse life-saving data from the world’s largest safety network, which includes over 700M+ connected devices and 200+ global technology companies. Learn more at www.RapidSOS.com.

What this role is about:

RapidSOS is growing fast, and finance has to keep pace. We’re looking for an FP&A Manager who treats financial analysis as a systems problem. You’d rather build the model, workflow, or dashboard that answers a question every month than answer it by hand every month. You’ll own core pillars of our FP&A function. You’ll partner with BI and data teams to move recurring analysis out of spreadsheets and into durable systems. And you’ll put sharp, timely insight in front of the executive team and board. This is a high-ownership, high-autonomy seat on a lean team. You’ll create structure where little exists, make judgment calls without much precedent, and anticipate what the business needs before anyone asks.

What you’ll do:

Own and evolve the company’s core operating models, including the scenario and sensitivity analysis that shapes our planning cycles.Lead budgeting and forecasting, and own forecast accuracy as a measure of your success.Deliver monthly reporting packages for the executive team and board: on time, accurate, and conclusion-first.Build and maintain the KPI dashboards and performance metrics leadership relies on to run the business.Support monthly and quarterly close with variance analysis that surfaces trends, risks, and opportunities early.Act as a strategic thought partner to cross-functional leaders, turning their questions into actionable answers.Partner with BI and data engineering to automate recurring analysis into governed, scalable systems.Use AI tools to accelerate your own work and raise the analytical bar across finance.

What we’re looking for in our ideal candidate:

  • 5+ years in FP&A, investment banking, consulting, or equity research. SaaS or technology experience is strongly preferred.
  • A track record of owning modeling and forecasting end to end with minimal oversight.
  • Advanced financial modeling skills, plus experience with planning software (e.g., Abacum, Adaptive Insights, Anaplan) and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Fluency with modern AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) and genuine excitement about how they can change the way finance works.
  • Clear, conclusion-first communication, in writing and when presenting to executives and the board.
  • A self-directed, scrappy, resilient approach. You move quickly, pivot when priorities shift, and find the gaps before anyone points them out.
  • High integrity and a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

What we offer:

  • The chance to work with a passionate team on solving one of the largest challenges globally
  • Competitive salary and benefits and equity participation
  • A dynamic, flexible and fun start-up work environment with a highly talented team

Finance Finance Operations Manager at NetBrain Technologies Inc.

Runs finance operations, close processes, cross-functional projects, audits, reporting workflows, and AI-driven process automation.

Mid Posted 9 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Founded in 2004, NetBrain is the leader in no-code network automation. Its ground-breaking Next-Gen platform provides IT operations teams with the ability to scale their hybrid multi-cloud connected networks by automating the processes associated with Diagnostic Troubleshooting, Outage Prevention and Protected Change Management.  Today, over 2,500 of the world’s largest enterprises and managed services providers leverage NetBrain’s platform.

What We Need

NetBrain is looking for a Finance Operations Manager to make the finance team faster, clearer and easier to work with. You will own the flow of information between accounting, FP&A and the rest of the business, and you will use modern AI tools to take manual work out of it. You do not need to be a CPA. You need to be a builder who understands how finance work moves, can see where it gets stuck, and can fix it.

What You’ll Do

Run the Finance Operating Rhythm

  • Own the monthly close calendar and give everyone outside accounting a clear view of what is open and when it lands.
  • Keep a single tracker for deadlines, owners and dependencies across accounting, FP&A, orders and RevOps.
  • Run the recurring finance meetings, capture decisions and follow every action item to closure.

Fix How Information Moves

  • Map how information flows between finance teams and find where work waits.
  • Set up simple, repeatable hand-offs, so teams are told about changes (new vendors, entities, team moves) before systems break.
  • Turn one-off requests into standard reports and dashboards that go out on a schedule.

Automate With AI

  • Find manual, repetitive finance tasks and replace them with AI tools and automated workflows.
  • Write short playbooks and train finance team members to use them.
  • Measure results: hours saved, days cut from the close, errors avoided.

Support Projects and Audits

  • Coordinate cross-functional finance projects from scoping to delivery, including audit requests and year-end work.
  • Prepare clean, well-organized support for auditors and the executive team.
  • Help prepare and track budget and planning milestones.

What You Bring

  • 4 to 6 years in finance operations, FP&A, revenue accounting, accounting operations, business operations or a similar role
  • Comfortable with the close, month-end reporting and the order-to-cash flow, even if you have not run them
  • AI experience (Claude preferred) with curiosity for trying new tools.
  • You can run a project with many owners, track it and finish it
  • Clear writing, steady follow-up, and the ability to work with people you do not manage
  • Manual Dexterity: Repetitive motion of wrists, hands and fingers for using a computer.
  • Stationary Tasks: Sitting for extended periods, remaining in a stationary position.

What We Offer

Our comprehensive compensation package is vital in how we recognize our people for the impact they make on us reaching our goals as a company.

For this role, the estimated base is $115,000 - $140,000 + Bonus. The actual salary may vary based on a range of factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process.

The range listed above is a guideline and may be modified. People Experience offers a comprehensive benefits package in addition to cash compensation that includes but is not limited to 401k and medical/dental coverage. Speak with your Recruiter for more details on our Total Rewards philosophy.

NetBrain invites all interested and qualified candidates to apply for employment opportunities.

Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or other characteristics protected by law.

If you have a disability that prevents or limits your ability to use or access the site, or if you require any other accommodation in the application process due to a disability, you may request a reasonable accommodation. To make a request, please contact our People Team at: people@netbraintech.com and we will be happy to assist you.

In compliance with applicable laws, NetBrain conducts holistic, individual background reviews in support of all hiring decisions.

It is unlawful in Massachusetts to require or administer a lie detector test as a condition of employment or continued employment. An employer who violates this law shall be subject to criminal penalties and civil liability.
