What this role involves

About Us:

Endpoint is an interactive response technology (IRT®) systems and solutions provider that supports the life sciences industry. Since 2009, we have been working with a single vision in mind, to help sponsors and pharmaceutical companies achieve clinical trial success. Our solutions, realized through the proprietary PULSE® platform, have proven to maximize the supply chain, minimize operational costs, and ensure timely and accurate patient dosing. Endpoint is headquartered in Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina with offices across the United States, Europe, and Asia.

Endpoint Clinical is a trusted clinical trial technology and service partner delivering reliable randomization and trial supply management solutions. We are expanding our capabilities to bring clinical supply planning closer to real time trial execution, helping sponsors make better supply decisions with greater speed, confidence, and control. We are seeking an entrepreneurial executive to build and lead a clinical supply consulting and advisory practice focused on forecasting, planning, optimization, and intelligent decision support. This leader will combine deep clinical supply expertise with consulting discipline, executive presence, and commercial acumen.

The Opportunity

This role sits at the intersection of clinical supply strategy, forecasting and optimization, RTSM/IRT, consulting services, product innovation, and commercial growth. You will serve as Endpoint’s executive subject matter expert for clinical supply and help define how sponsors use data, technology, and practical expertise to improve decisions across the trial lifecycle. This is not a traditional clinical supply operations role. It is a build-and-lead opportunity for someone who can create repeatable advisory offerings, engage senior sponsor stakeholders, shape software capabilities, and establish a differentiated market position.

What you will do

  • Build and lead the consulting practice
    • Establish and scale a clinical supply consulting and advisory capability.
    • Develop repeatable offerings, methodologies, frameworks, delivery standards, and intellectual property.
    • Define an operating model that supports high-quality delivery, measurable customer outcomes, and sustainable growth.
    • Build and develop a team of clinical supply experts as the practice grows.
  • Advise sponsors on complex supply decisions
    • Partner with clinical supply, development operations, clinical operations, and cross-functional leadership teams.
    • Guide customers through forecasting, manufacturing scenarios, inventory strategy, depot planning, overage, risk mitigation, and protocol-change impacts.
    • Facilitate executive discussions that convert uncertainty and complex data into clear decisions and actions.
    • Support strategic customer engagements, governance meetings, and business reviews.
  • Connect clinical supply planning with RTSM execution
    • Help customers use planning assumptions and real-time trial information to improve supply decisions.
    • Identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve responsiveness, and protect patient service levels.
    • Bring deep practical knowledge of RTSM/IRT workflows, integrations, and clinical supply operating models.
  • Shape product strategy and innovation
    • Collaborate with Product, Technology, Commercial, and Delivery leaders to translate market needs into scalable capabilities.
    • Use consulting insights to inform product priorities, workflow design, analytics, and decision-support use cases.
    • Act as a voice of the customer in the evolution of Endpoint clinical supply intelligence solutions.
  • Driving commercial growth and industry leadership
    • Participate in strategic pursuits, executive briefings, proposals, and solution design.
    • Create consulting-led entry points and expansion opportunities within sponsor organizations.
    • Represent Endpoint at industry events and build a credible external point of view through speaking and thought leadership.

What you will bring

  • 15+ years of experience in clinical trial supply management, clinical supply strategy, supply-chain consulting, clinical operations, or a closely related discipline.
  • Deep understanding of global clinical supply planning and execution, including forecasting, packaging and labeling, manufacturing constraints, inventory, distribution, depots, comparators, returns, and supply risk.
  • Strong working knowledge of RTSM/IRT and the relationship between supply planning and live study execution.
  • Experience advising pharmaceutical or biotechnology organizations on complex operational and strategic decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to build methodologies, offerings, teams, or new business capabilities.
  • Credibility and confidence with senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Commercial judgment, including the ability to identify needs, shape solutions, support proposals, and create measurable value.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience. An advanced degree or relevant professional certification

Leadership Profile

  • Entrepreneurial and comfortable building from an early foundation.
  • Customer-centered, outcome-oriented, and practical.
  • Analytical, data-driven, and able to simplify complex decisions.
  • Collaborative across product, technology, commercial, and delivery teams.
  • Visible and credible as an industry leader, while remaining hands-on when needed.
  • Committed to quality, speed, agility, and strong customer partnerships.

What Success looks like

  • A differentiated clinical supply consulting practice is launched with clear offerings and delivery standards.
  • Sponsor executives view Endpoint as a trusted advisor on clinical supply planning, forecasting, and optimization.
  • Consulting creates measurable customer outcomes and contributes to sustainable revenue growth.
  • Customer insights directly influence product priorities and scalable clinical supply intelligence capabilities.
  • Endpoint develops a stronger market voice and network across the clinical supply community.
