What this role involves

WHY JOIN ALO?

Mindful movement. It’s at the core of why we do what we do at ALO—it’s our calling. Because mindful movement in the studio leads to better living. It changes who yogis are off the mat, making their lives and their communities better. That’s the real meaning of studio-to-street: taking the consciousness from practice on the mat and putting it into practice in life.

OVERVIEW

The Internal Investigator is responsible for conducting timely, objective, and thorough investigations into employee theft, fraud, dishonesty, policy violations, and other internal-risk matters across ALO stores and operational locations. Reporting to the Internal Investigations Manager, this role will analyze exception-based reporting and operational intelligence into defensible investigations; conduct employee interviews; preserve evidence; document findings; and partner with Asset Protection, Human Resources, Legal, Retail Operations, and law enforcement as appropriate.

The successful candidate combines strong analytical judgment with disciplined investigative interviewing, clear writing, discretion, and the ability to manage sensitive matters in a fast-moving retail environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify, develop, and manage internal investigations involving employee theft, fraudulent returns, gift card and refund fraud, cash-loss activity, policy violations, confidential-information incidents, and other misconduct.
  • Use exception-based reporting and related investigative tools to identify patterns, prioritize risk, build case leads, and determine appropriate investigative scope.
  • Leverage AI-enabled tools to develop internal case dashboards and trend analyses that identify potential cases, prioritize investigative leads, and support efficient case resolution while maintaining data accuracy, confidentiality, and appropriate human review.
  • Analyze transaction, refund, gift card, employee credential, schedule, video-surveillance, RFID, ecommerce, and other operational data to corroborate allegations and quantify loss.
  • Conduct internal investigative interviews using a non-accusatory, fact-based approach; obtain complete written statements, admissions when applicable, and repayment documentation.
  • Maintain Wicklander-Zulawski interview standards and ensure interviews are conducted professionally, ethically, and in alignment with ALO policy and applicable law.
  • Prepare concise, persuasive case reports and executive summaries that clearly distinguish substantiated, unsubstantiated, potential, and admitted case values.
  • Safeguard and organize evidence, including video, transactional records, RFID data, witness information, written statements, and other case documentation.
  • Coordinate investigation planning, interview logistics, and post-interview actions with HR, Asset Protection, Retail leadership, and Legal.
  • Support restitution and recovery efforts, including accurate case submission to ALO-approved restitution vendors within established timelines.
  • Prepare law-enforcement referral packages and support prosecution decisions when approved by Legal and Asset Protection leadership.
  • Provide clear investigative updates to business partners while maintaining confidentiality and need-to-know controls.
  • Identify control gaps and recommend practical corrective actions, including credential security, POS and mobile-POS controls, gift card controls, inventory handling, and process compliance.
  • Support training and awareness initiatives that improve reporting quality, evidence preservation, and internal-risk prevention across the field.
  • Manage multiple investigations simultaneously while meeting ALO case-quality, confidentiality, and turnaround expectations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of internal investigations, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, corporate security, or comparable investigative experience; multi-unit retail experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience using exception-based reporting to identify, investigate, and resolve employee theft, fraud, return abuse, cash loss, or similar internal-risk matters.
  • Current Wicklander-Zulawski (WZ) interview certification.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting employee investigative interviews and preparing clear written statements and investigative reports.
  • Experience reviewing and synthesizing video surveillance, POS and mobile-POS activity, transaction records, inventory/RFID data, schedules, and ecommerce or customer-order data.
  • Working knowledge of evidence handling, investigative documentation, restitution practices, and law-enforcement referral processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex findings clearly to executive and field audiences.
  • High degree of integrity, sound judgment, discretion, and ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information.
  • Ability to travel as business needs require, including periodic overnight travel; ability to conduct interviews in person and remotely.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Business, Security Management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience with retail exception-based reporting platforms. (Appriss, Aspect, Agellance etc.)
  • Experience with Shopify or comparable ecommerce platforms and retail inventory/RFID systems.
  • Experience supporting civil recovery, restitution, or criminal prosecution workflows.
  • Professional certifications such as CFI, LPC, CFE, or related investigative credentials.

Operations OTC Exotics Flow Support at Delta Capita

Supports OTC derivatives trading desks by validating bookings, reconciling positions, resolving exceptions, and processing lifecycle and corporate action events.

Mid Posted 2 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Description

OTC Exotics Flow Support

London

12 Months Fixed Term Contract

This is a flow support role supporting the OTC & equity derivative trading desks across vanilla and exotic products. This role sits as part of a larger ops team that also covers sales support.

The individual must be able to work harmoniously with their counterparts in an intense, deadline-driven environment, taking full ownership of tasks as they come in. The role is focused on the integrity of the book — ensuring trades are captured correctly, lifecycle and corporate action events are processed accurately, and breaks and exceptions are cleared before they reach risk or P&L. Frequent and proactive communication with the trading desk, downstream teams and Ops management is required to succeed in this role.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • A key requirement of this role is the ability to jump in on ongoing issues or exceptions, understand the root issue and own the coordination of it through to a timely resolution.

  • Liaise with the desk and senior stakeholders across the teams network to respond to queries and resolve issues.

  • Review and validate trade bookings across OTC vanilla and some exotic products, ensuring economics, static data and booking models are correct at the point of capture and that the risk system reflects the desk’s intended position.

  • Perform and review daily reconciliations across positions, trade populations, cash and collateral. Investigate breaks to root cause, coordinate the correcting action with the relevant team, and drive ageing items to resolution and closure.

  • Own the daily exception queues, working on unmatched, unconfirmed and failing items. Prioritise by risk and client impact, escalate early where a resolution is at risk, and identify the recurring exceptions that warrant a permanent fix.

  • Manage the operational impact of corporate actions on the derivatives book, including dividends, mergers, stock splits, spin-offs and rights issues. Coordinate contract adjustments with the desk, apply the resulting changes accurately in the risk system, and validate the outcome against expectation.

  • Process expiries, exercises and assignments, barrier and knock-out events on exotic structures, resets and novations, ensuring the desk and downstream teams are aligned ahead of each event date.

  • Resolve any matching, affirmation and tradeflow issues, working with counterparties and internal teams to clear breaks and improve straight-through processing rates.

  • Act as the escalation point for settlement and cash breaks on the book, working with Settlements, Collateral and the counterparty to resolve issues before they age.

  • Continually look for more efficient ways to run the daily control set, whether through defaulting logic, better use of STP models, automation of manual checks, or eliminating the causes of recurring breaks.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent: all analytical disciplines considered.

  • Strong product knowledge across equity derivatives essential — experience with OTC vanilla and exotic options is beneficial and listed options and equity swaps also.

  • Demonstrable experience of reconciliations, break investigation and exception management in a trade support or middle office environment.

  • Practical understanding of corporate actions and their impact on derivative contracts.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to deal with senior internal clients and join a team of experienced professionals.

  • Demonstration in their past work experience of robust analytical skills, high attention to detail, process improvement and a control mindset.

  • A self-starter with the ability to work on their own initiative as well as be a solid team player.

  • Comfortable working to hard intraday deadlines with the resilience to hold the line on controls under desk pressure.

How We Work

Delta Capita is an equal opportunity employer. We actively encourage applications from suitably qualified and eligible candidates regardless of age, colour, disability, national origin, ancestry, race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, veteran status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable law.
